anime fanart: Sailor Uranus

This was one in my to-do folder with a 2016 date on it. I thought about finishing it because the 3rd season of "Sailormoon Crystal" comes out on DVD in the U.S. soon. I'm looking forward to that season............because of Sailor Uranus. :)

Pretty Guardian Sailormoon belongs to Naoko Takeuchi.

    Good for you for catching up on things in your old to-do file! Are the seasons of Sailor Moon Crystal pretty similar to the seasons of the original series?

      Thanks! :D

      The “Crystal” series is actually a perfect adaption of the manga—it doesn’t have the shounen leanings of the older anime series. So in that.....the seasons are short, 13 episodes each. But it’s really nice to see the animators do the uniqueness of every Sailor Senshi’s outfit and stick closer to Naoko Takeuchi’s art style! :)

    Gorgeous! I love Sailor Uranus but I haven't gotten to where she comes in on the show yet!

      She was my favorite, always—strong, a bit boyish, and kind of a romantic. The old anime didn’t really play up her romantic side, but I hope with “Crystal” being close to the original manga this version will. :)
