To get ready to go out for the new year............I'm gonna clear out my "Lemonade" folder with the last couple illustrations I have in it. These final two 2016 piece for my little RPG-parody comic are Grape in his armour..............yeah, not an armour person, so I hope I can do it some small justice in the comic itself.
This is a traditional piece I drew way back when, while developing the comic...at a point when a lot of things hadn't really been settled upon yet. Colors, designs...things like that. I think I just chose red because I love red...but color-wise, when I sat down to think about making some decent looking armour...I realized it should be colors that relate to the character and/or foreshadow events.
That said............I think I'd really like to redo this particular piece sometime in 2017--color it the right color and work on that game-text border stuff. XD

It's kinda funny, because in FF15.........one of the companions will do the little FF battle complete/level up jingle after fighting every so often--just like that. XD
