ren with apple (colored sketch)

My hired character from the Nine-Tales job class of "Disgaea 5".........I wanted to hire a character I could "raise" uniquely, because the game has a default joiner from this job class (Izuna, the Head of Dragon Fang). I didn't want to mess with Izuna, so I hired a character from the job class to make more unique.

So, this is Ren. Her personality type is the "tsundere" type............for those that don't know, it's "hot-cold" personality--when someone acts cold to you, but can also be really soft and passionate to you and can change at a moment's notice. It actually gives Ren a very cute personality with cute things to say when you talk to her in the Pocket Netherworld.

This is a "sketch", because............whether you can tell or not, I never erased the pencil lines. I inked it all with my Bimoji brush pen. Except for her actual body shape (and if you can call those straps clothing, hence why I slapped a 13+ label on her! XD), I like how this turned out! :D

Nine-Tales job class belongs to Disgaea/Nippon Ichi Software.

      Awwww...thank you very much! :D

I really love the Japanese brush pen I got...I'm not good at using a traditional brushes and inks (I make a mess), but this brush pen is just like using a real brush without relying on an inkwell! :)

    This looks absolutely adorable. X3

One question, though... What's a "Bimoji brush pen"? Because the line effect it gives looks super neat.

      Thanks! :D

It's a Japanese inking pen that looks exactly like a brush. Bimoji is the brand name. I bought my first one at AnimeExpo last year...but found out that Hobby Lobby carries them, with the calligraphy supplies. It's like a real brush...unlike Sakura (Pigma Micron) or Faber-Castell's brush pens...so it bends and moves like a real brush, even though it's a pen. :)

There are five types, but if you can't read Japanese...look for the one with the illustration of a long brush tip on the front. :)

That's so cool, I'll definitely look into getting one. I'm always looking for things to experiment with with my traditional artwork.

It's really nice...because you can get really thin and fine lines or really thick lines--and not worry about a mess with bottled ink. Also, very portable! :)
