It only got as far as a sketch. sigh This is what I drew on New Year's for my first 2016 drawing...the manga version of Lance from the volumes 4-7 of "Pokemon Adventures" (Pocketmonsters Special).
Lance/Wataru belongs to Pokemon/Nintendo/GameFreak, this design was done by Hidenori Kusaka and Mato for the manga. :)

Yaaaaaay! :D
I tried for sad/brooding with this.................he's really tragic in this storyline and completely unlike his video game persona. I do like this outfit they gave him though...since it's a REALLY normal outfit without the cape attached! XD He changes in the Gold/Silver story-arc to very cold and withdrawn...and then rather nice and personable by the time they do HeartGold/SoulSilver many years later...this manga can be odd sometimes, but I really like how they make the games' storyline so deep and serious! :)
