Dark brown. No, not black. Let me stand next to my mother who has truly black hair and you'll see the difference.

Dark brown - unless I'm angry. Then I've been told I get a green rim around the outside.

Single, not looking.

Currently, I'm an RVT instructor teaching at a school for wanting-to-be-RVTs.

What do you like about yourself?
My sense of justice.

My appearance.

What did your friends notice about you when they first met you?
I don't know. I never asked them.

What is your belief/religion if you believe in anything at all?
I call myself a lukewarm Catholic, because while I have the core beliefs I was raised with, I have a big problem with a lot of the Church's edicts and stances, and personally, I tend to regard most belief systems as valid unless they revolve around things that hurt or oppress others.

Do you drink?
Eh. Maybe once, twice a year? And never more than one or two. One side of my family has very addictive personalities and I've seen what being an alcoholic can do. I am privately afraid of the kind of person I would be if I ever went too far. I think I'd be a mean drunk.

Do you smoke?
Maybe once or twice a year, and only tobacco in a meerschaum pipe carved into a buffalo, usually with my brother and/or father because they're the cigar/pipe smokers in the family. As an aside, I absolutely loathe cigarette smoke.

What are your major fears?
Failure.

Do you have any dreams or goals?
I used to, but at the moment, I'm rudderless.

Have you ever had a crush or an ex?
No.

Who's your best buddy?
I call her AL, because those are her initials, and her name is Anastasia. I dislike the name Stacy, and I can't call someone else Ana, but those are her nicknames, so I dubbed her AL and that's how it is.

What's your favorite dish?
This is hard. I'm a notoriously picky eater, but I do have some favorites. Huevos con chorizo and papas with either bacon or sausage, the way my mother made them, or steak and lobster, or pepperoni pizza with extra extra extra cheese. Yeah, I'm a mozzarella fiend.

What's your favorite drink?
Honest Ade Pomegranate Blue. Oh, you mean booze? Uh. The only ones I tend to -like- are hard ciders. Peach, or Apple, or Pear, or Pomegranate... yeah. Those were tasty.

What's your favorite color?
Forest green and brown.

If you had a super power, what would it be?
What it would be for most people here, I imagine. Transformation into my preferred character - a minotaur.

What's your favorite movie?
This changes too much to answer.

What's your least favorite food?
Shrimp.

What's the last meal you want before you die?
Can't say I've put a lot of thought into this. Personally, I'd rather not die, so that I can continue to eat many different things.

What do you drive and what would you really like to drive?
I drive a Scion XA, and actually, I really like it. It's the first new car I ever owned, and the first car I -liked- and didn't just see as a method of transportation from here to there and didn't care about otherwise.

What is your most disliked bug?
Spiders. I appreciate them in the grand scheme of things, but I do not like them up close and personal.

What pet peeves do you dislike the most?
The way this question is worded, it's not asking what my pet peeves are, but what ones in others do I dislike most. Which is a little nonsensical.

Obviously, one of my pet peeves is incorrect spelling and grammar. Another is trolling - see I simply don't understand the point. Not only is someone going out of their way to be an asshat to someone else, they're enjoying it, finding it entertaining. And shortly after the troll themselves, comes the troll fan. These people think it's GREAT that someone else is being an asshat. What this boils down to is kindergarten playground mentality: calling someone names or harassing them until they cry. It's called being mean, and callous, and ultimately, a bully.

What do you dislike in life?
Politics, fanatics, people and animals suffering needlessly, abusive people, shallow people, bigotry, sexism, and many aspects of society that are unjust and make no sense.

What do you like about life?
Good people, generous people, the fact that we can rise to heights that are just as wonderful as the lows can be horrible, my preferred styles of art, sunrises, sunsets, music, being alone, being with good friends, making a difference where I can.
