Someone remind me again why women put up with assholes like that?

It's usually an unconscious love for those alpha type males that women seem to follow so unquestioningly. It's part of the reason many of the "good" men about, live single lives, become wealthy, powerful, and earn everything they want, which in term leads them to being the same thing they always hated; alpha type males.
I think it's supposed to be ironic. I don't know.

As I understand it has to do with trauma in childhood which causes them to subconsciously seek narcissistic patterns of behavior in their mates. It's not something you can just turn off. You can only heal it after you fully understand it. That means you have to seek out knowledge, but usually it has to get terrifyingly bad before someone will be desperate enough to read a book or ask for help. For those that want some light on the problem, here's one:

It's not necessarily that they're 'damaged', it's just that they were forced to endure cruelty at a time when they were vulnerable and unprepared. Society is so dangerously apathetic and ignorant of this reality.

Yeah, get him a beer, because pussies like him drink beer, it will suit him perfectly (ladies, please don't take offense to my use of that word, there's a big difference in meanings between when I call a fucktard like that a pussy and when I ask if you'd like me to go down on yours). Open it for him, too, because I doubt he's capable of doing it on his own... and then drown him with it.
It won't fix his affliction of entitlement, but it will make you feel awesome. And it will provide the rest of us amusement at his expense. That sounds pretty reasonable to me.
