Looks so peaceful compared to what's going on lately. Tempted to make some smug comment about this being overly idealistic, but then I realize, if the world we live in is one where sensibly designed transportation options are pure fantasy.

I took the Autotrain from Virginia to Florida once and this is giving me strong vibes to that. Although the cars on the Autotrain are pretty dated. The light controls were Reeses Orange and Yellow and the climate control dials looked like they were pulled off of a wall mounted heater unit from the 70s. Just sitting in the seat and watching the world pass by though was wonderful.
