Except the dark age fell (the eclipse) a century later and Nornir (long turned hess) ran into a stray wanderer who got lost. He points him down a trail of swords (well, graves, because Nornir arranged them to honor the dead warriors they belonged to, hurp), right into the direction of the dark sun that's about to fall. Maybe somewhere over there is shelter? Maybe he should stay with the hess he ran into? If night falls, the whispers will get him.

I dunno, I'm too tired to write up a small story for this. Just like the last one... it was just drawn randomly, trying to pick up something random from Dark Age canon and just have fun with scenery. It's quite relaxing... I just need to learn how to draw more... proper... Everything is just practise all over again (that's my way of displaying my discontent with the image in the most polite manner possible). 6_9

Hey, it's alright! Dark ages always lead to wild imagination. That should be developed into a story, when you have time and you feel about it.
Tip: I personally don't like much blurry foregrounds. A drawing isn't a photo. If you look at paintings, drawings..., foregrounds are bolder, darker, or in this case, maybe with dark reflects.
    Still, it's a fav.

May: I think it's artist's choice. And if you don't like it it's your personal preference, as as such, you probably should leave it to yourself. Not to be rude or something

Okay man, I'm letting you in peace from now on.
All my best with your artwork though!

Just want to say that I personally like the blurry foregrounds that you two and other artists sometimes choose to work with. Of course it is perfectly fine if Mary doesn't like them, though! I'm not sure that she wants to leave necessarily, I think she may still enjoy your works a lot despite that personal preference. I can't know that for certain, BUT..

For me, combining the effects sometimes present in photography with drawing/painting is super cool. When done correctly, such as here, I always feel like I have been pulled into the situation and am seeing it in person!

I adore the composition of this, the angle and the blurring of the foreground give it so much depth!

Eerie, yet beautiful. Very much in love with the depth and atmosphere of your scenes. Personally I think the depth effect suits your style well.
