December 22, 1995. It was 19 years ago when Balto was released into theatres. An animated masterpiece helmed by director Simon Wells, executive producer Steven Spielberg, and Spielberg's animation studio Amblimation (the predecessor of DreamWorks Animation). Not only do I consider Balto the most underrated animated film of all time, but this is among my all-time favourites with beautiful animation, a very heartwarming story, and a protagonist (Balto himself) who I deeply connect with in my heart.

To celebrate the 19th anniversary of Balto as well as Christmas, I made a pic of Balto wearing a Christmas hat. Now I'm defiantly not the first person to draw that, but I think its just adorable. And comparing it to my first pic of Balto I did years ago, I have to say that this is a MAJOR improvement, and I'm really happy with how this turned out. :D
