This is a commission I got from Mirera of Rose and herself, believe it or not this is Mirera's first attempt at drawing a balloonie character and she did spectacularly amazingly well and I couldn't be more pleased with it!
Go and give Mirera a watch!

It's a bit more difficult than that because in place of having to worry about the fur you do need to worry about seams if they have them, how to proportion them differently from regular furs, how to position and emphasise the creases and folds and as you've already stated how and where to place the highlights.

That's really nice, but I can believe that's her first time. Balloonies are surprisingly easier to draw than regular furries. Mainly, it's because we don't have to work with fur and you can treat every little different part of the body as a separate object, and the body's parts are larger and closer together (i.e. Toes and foot). I think the only challenge I ever found with balloonies is just making them shiny enough. XD
