The climb to the top of the handle was almost as bad as climbing up the phone cord. As he leaned forward on the rim of the coffee cup he didn't see Rebecca's hand reaching for the cup. He turned around just in time to loose his balance as the cub was lifted. He fell backwards into the cup. Rebecca, still reading her book, hasn't noticed a thing.
