Cheesy Pull-Apart Garlic Bread by KajTaotsu

Cheesy Pull-Apart Garlic Bread

KajTaotsu

This was one of three dishes that I made with my friends, Moony and Sarah, one night and oh gosh, this is probably favorite for appetizers now. The best part is that it's really easy and cheap to make!

Cheesy Pull-Apart Garlic Bread

Ingredients:

  • 1 can of refrigerated Pillsbury Grands biscuits
  • 1/2 stick of butter (PAULA DEEN Y'ALL)
  • 3 to 4 cloves of garlic, minced (the cloves I used were decent sized, so you may want to add a clove or two if you really want that garlic flavor to permeate everything)
  • 1 cup grated parmesan, 1/4 of said reserved on side
  • 1/4 tsp basil
  • 1/4 tsp thyme
  • 1/4 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT USED: Bundt Pan

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350*F. Place the half stick of butter in a pan and let it sit in the preheating oven to melt for a couple minutes (don't want the butter to burn or evaporate off!)
  2. Cut the Grands biscuits into quarters and toss them in a medium/large bowl with 3/4 cup of the parmesan and all of the spices.
  3. With the melted butter in the bundt pan, place the biscuit pieces into said pan in an even-like matter. Sprinkle the rest of the parmesan onto the pieces.
  4. Put the pan back into the 350*F oven and bake for 20-22 minutes until golden brown. When ready, pull it out and let it cool until able to flip over the pan and onto a serving plate/platter.

This was really easy and really cheap to make, like said before the recipe. It can easily be a favorite for party food and serve 3-5 people as an appetizer piece. The best thing about this is that even if the bread cools off entirely, as it did for us waiting for the entree of the night to be finished, it keeps almost all flavor with it and is still delicious cool. A marinara dipping sauce would work very well with this dish.
