The sight westward from Desert View on the early thursday evening that my parents, bf, and I went to the location for our final sunset over the canyon. This is the sight we had looking back into the canyon being on the most eastern, paved location of the park. The haze you see in the canyon is pollution from the south and even some from China going by what the information boards at the museum/welcome center says. Some days, the haze is really bad whereas others the canyon can be pretty clear. I want to say that we arrived at a time where it was sort of in the middle closer towards clear.
