This tail has been sold!

This is a tail I made a couple of years back, to test out some techniques I hadn't used before. I was aiming for a semi-realistic style. It has a partial foam core at the top, to keep it stable against a belt and hold it away from the body. The rest of its length is stuffed with polyfill. It has a nice natural motion, and has two belt loops made of a sturdy, non-stretchy fabric.

The model in the picture is 5 foot 10 inches tall, so a shorter wearer would have had to hold the end of the tail while walking to prevent it dragging on the ground. The fur used on this tail would suit a lion character who is more tan-coloured than golden.
