At Everfree Northwest 2016, I got the chance to have dinner and meet with the voice actress for Diamond Tiara, Chantal Strand. For those that know the character, Diamond Tiara is a mean, pampered filly who seems out to make the lives of the Cutie Mark Crusaders a hard one!

What you may not know, however is Chantal Strand is the exact opposite kind of person in real life! As we were having dinner together, she turned out to be a really sweet, kind person to talk to. I was inspired by this niceness that the next day, I ran to my room and quickly sketched Diamond Tiara in my sketchbook and ran back down to the autograph room while it was still her block. I wanted to thank her for a lovely evening, for respecting me as the female that I try hard to portray outwardly and get her to sign my sketch.
