If she should ask
Where I have gone
Don't tell her that
I will be long
Tell her to watch
The rising sun
And one day I
Will surely come
Through storm and sea
Through waters deep
From foreign lands
Where monsters sleep
I long to be
In her embrace
All wrapped in white
And powdery lace
Tell her I'll find
My way back home
I shall not leave
Her there alone
And lest I die
Out on the sea
Please ask her to
Remember me
