Stage 1 ||
Normal Aiden. In this state Maw’s consciousnesses is completely separate from Aiden’s. Maw is only able to speak to Aiden through normal communication and Aiden only slightly feels pangs of hunger from Maw.

Stage 2 ||
Maw’s hunger is growing causing it’s consciousness to begin merging with Aiden’s. Maw can communicate with Aiden through a mind link, but prefers to use it as a way to pressure Aiden to feed. The more of Maw’s influence affects Aiden, the more the corruption spreads across his body.

Stage 3 ||
Maw’s consciousness has almost full control over Aiden’s body, causing spine like protrusions on his arms, shoulders, and legs. Aiden can try and fight Maw off, but at this point Maw’s hunger is far to strong for Aiden to try to suppress.

Stage 4 ||
Aiden’s consciousness is completely buried by Maw‘s. This is when they enter the hunger frenzy state. With Maw completely in control Theo and Devon can only help direct Maws hunger at someone who hopefully wont be missed. Nothing will stop him until he feeds. Only then can Aiden’s conciousness return and his body reverts back to stage 1.
