The dA group Creatures-of-fantasy has the Peryton as the creature of the month, so I figured I’d give one a shot. To make it a challenge, I used a random color palette from colourpod.com. I only used those five colors, in varying opacities. It was really, really tough to not add more colors, but I’m pleased with the overall result. In the future, I’d probably try to bring in the other colors into the subject as well, rather than just in the background. I’ll have to do a limited palette again sometime!
