The shape and direction of this piece is based of the Fibonacci Sequence, a sequence in which each number equals the sum of the two numbers before it. This mathematical occurrence also has strong ties with what is called the Golden Ratio.

Many things in nature have a connection to these values and phenomenon. Flowers, pine cones, and snail shells are small examples. Similarly, galaxies have this shape, too. Big or small, the Golden Ratio has a connection that is sometimes overlooked. Artists for centuries have used it's interesting structure.

And now it's used to describe a journey, connecting from the back to the front. However, the sequence doesn't end, seeing the Ratio is irrational and has no found limits. Though we are in the middle of the path, the road leads on.
