Meet Ferrus Ross, who up until very recently worked for the Corporation. He found a lush little purple world on the Rim during an acquisition survey, and decided it was just too pretty to spoil -- and, coincidentally, that it was finally time for that early retirement he'd been fantasizing about. True freedom, however, often comes at a very high price in 20XX. Ferrus sometimes wonders how the Corporation can afford to keep sending so many dronebots and Zoomers just to capture one man, but that's OK. They always make for some great target practice.
