Commentary:
Don't worry, even I was aware how remarkable it was that Auda remembered that well when she was that little. Tygo and Lubo think so too.

I've waited so long to have Auda explain this. To clarify, based on her narration in this page and the last page, her mom went missing when Auda was 4 years old. I planned out this backstory the way I did so it would make sense why Auda hadn't bothered looking for her Emblem until the previous chapter. If Otto didn't pretend to break it, she could have found it years ago unless he hid it ridiculously well, in which case she probably would have never found it. So breaking it is.
