I wanted to give Rikku two visible front fangs but it turns out that raccoons actually have teeth similar to that. That was kind of an accident and I never really thought about a raccoon's mouth before I started drawing Rikku with one. I mean, thinking about raccoon mouths randomly would just be weird, right?
