Octransfur Day 27: Classic Bucket Prank [Gum Bat TF, Sticky] by Joat

Symtec filled the small bucket with confetti, which was difficult with plush wings instead of arms, then perched it carefully on top of the door frame... which, in turn, was difficult due to his somewhat short size. Thanks to Phira, he was still a big plush raven. Phira was out and Joat would be home soon, so he decided to play a silly trick on his silly owner. He knew water was more traditional, but confetti seemed like a fun alteration.

His set-up came just in time, as he heard Joat approaching just as he had finished. He snuck next to the doorway, such that he would be hidden when the door was opened, and waited. Sure enough, the door slowly swung open. However, the bucket did not fall. Despite its center of gravity clearly being well off the door, it remained atop it as if it were glued in place. Symtec looked up at it in confusion for a bit, before finally the bucket started falling... toward him.

He didn’t have time to react before the bucket poured its contents over him. But instead of spilling a small amount of glitter on him, instead he found a large quantity of pink liquid falling toward him, more than should have even been possible to store in such a small bucket. It poured itself all over him, obscuring his vision. But though he couldn’t see what was happening to him, he could definitely feel it.

First to change was his ears. Before, he didn’t have visible ears, being a bird, but he was now starting to develop semi-rounded, pointed ears atop his head. Next to change was his beak, reshaping itself into a muzzle. After that, he felt his tailfeathers recede and his wings start changing, a claw forming on each as the feathers were replaced with a membrane that reached from his wings all the way down his legs. Last to change were his legs and feet, adopting a more familiar shape, his bird feet changing back into paws.

The gum no longer covered his eyes, so he opened them once more. He tried to give a squeak of surprise, but he couldn’t as his mouth was stuck shut. The house looked so much bigger now, which he supposed meant he had shrunken down considerably. Looking himself over, he found he was now in the shape of a cute little fruit bat, made entirely of bubblegum. He tried pulling his paws up from the gum that had pooled under them, but the gum simply stretched, hardly letting his paws move at all before pulling them back down. He tried pulling his wings away from the sides of his body, but they were stuck together by their own stickiness, simply stretching as he pulled, refusing to part.

The door closed again, revealing a familiar pink kitsune. It was Joat, smiling mischievously at him while starting to wrap a now-comparatively-massive tail around him. “Hello there, my cute little captive~!”

Octransfur Day 27: Classic Bucket Prank [Gum Bat TF, Sticky]

Joat

The theme for this day was Prank. This is another tale for Symtec, because why not.

Now, I should probably address something here. Yes, in both this and the last story, I am gum nine-tailed kitsune even though my fursona is gum phoenix. The truth is... I've been debating on my fursona recently. I'm just not sure phoenix fits me as well as it used to, so I'm experimenting with kitsune.

Anyway, doing the usual comparison to what CrizBN did, we both went with a somewhat straightforward interpretation of the prompt and, funnily enough, both had this day's piece be a sequel to the day 2 piece. Funnily enough, I did end up seeing this image before doing my own day 27 stuff, but nonetheless I sincerely state that this is pure coincidence.

Even before seeing his piece, though, I knew it was going to be Chris the Mew pranking someone via TF. "Mew that TFs people via pranks" is practically his character summary at this point. If CrizBN's day 27 submission HADN'T been about Chris prank-TFing someone, then I would have woken up because clearly it was all just a dream.
