Kevin, a bunny-eared bubble dragon, began puffing up a large bubble. It was not the normal sort that most bubble dragons would blow - insofar as a bubble dragon’s bubbles could be called “normal” - but rather one made of bubblegum. He and Joat had agreed to play ball in the park together, but when he agreed to that Kevin had a bubble in mind.

Joat, a nine-tailed kitsune made of bubblegum, knew he should have expected this. Even by the standards of bubble dragons, Kevin was quite obsessed, though in his case there was also an obsession with bubblegum - which Joat had something to do with, of course - which frequently combined with that love of bubbles. Joat initially considered making a joking comment regarding this, but then he paused. He had a better idea...

He waited until the bubble was as tall as Kevin was - Kevin always tended to go overboard with his bubble blowing - and placed a paw on the bubble and gently pressed against it, channeling magical energy into it. Despite how softly he was pressing and how much larger the bubble was then his paw, the bubble quickly started being pushed back, shrinking back down, the air flowing from the bubble and back into Kevin as his belly started rapidly swelling and turning into bright pink bubblegum.

Kevin flailed his arms and gave a loud “Mmph!” but was unable to stop the process as his belly grew larger and larger, his arms, legs, and tail starting to turn to gum as well. His belly was now so round he couldn’t wrap his arms around it and was entirely made of bubblegum. On the front of his belly was a fun touch that Joat added since it was so close to Halloween: in darker-shaded pink, there was the image of a jack-o-lantern face on his belly, but instead of the traditional teeth one might expect, it had the front teeth of a bubble dragon.

Next to change were Kevin’s paws, then his head, and soon his entire body was made of soft, squishy bubblegum. Soon after that, the bubble had shrunken down entirely, Kevin’s belly now as large as the bubble previously had been, leaving the bloated bubble dragon blushily flailing his limbs. He had accidentally rolled onto his belly, which was quite comfortable but didn’t allow him to reach the ground at all. He was completely helpless.

Joat lifted the new bubblegum bubble dragon ball with his tails, then tossed him up into the air. Each time Kevin drifted back down, Joat would playfully bop the blushy ball back up into the air.
