Sasha relaxed, and let the red-gold glow of the evening sun wash over her. Warmth suffused the canine to the very core of her bones; she let out a contented sigh as she stretched out her legs and looked out from her lofty perch. Royale City stretched out below her; she could see it all, from the Ducal Palace atop Grendel Hill, to the forested masts of the ships moored to the Portside Docks. The view was really quite breathtaking; that was until the prow of a dirigible silently and spectacularly broke through the cloud layer, scattering them in it's wake and stole her breath afresh.

This stunning scene, the first piece of artwork of my lovely Sasha, my steampunk sheppie character,, was brought to life by the talented Skye Winter. I was chuffed to bits by this, and I'm happy to say that as you can see in the other piece of artwork in this folder of Sasha, she adapted her new style of drawing canines to my sheppie very nicely, but I still love this one dearly, it's a truly beautiful and inspiring scene that Skye brought to life.
