The Tale of Toots

"So yeah, that's how it happened." He shrugged lazily after recounting his tale. "A rookie adventuring mistake turned job opportunity." He laughed, remaining surprisingly upbeat given his condition. With a soft grunt, he unloaded more foul gas than most men would put out in a day, the smell almost enough to knock out a steed. "I'm turning 21 soon so, that would have been about 3 years ago now, and I've been passing gas ever since. So that's why they call me Toots."

He pulls out a small bottle, filled with colourful, marble sized jellies, tips one out, and pops it into his mouth to chew.
"It took a while for me to get to Sigil, so I ended up infecting a couple of towns on my way here, that have since been moved to containment." His body rolls to the side as he raises a leg, another bubble of gas rippling out beneath him as he spoke, without missing a beat. At least this one seemed to carry the scent of fruit with it.
"Oh, don't worry. I'm not contagious anymore. A'Kin couldn't cure me, but he could at least stop it from producing spores." He smiles, rubbing his stomach.

"What's that? A potion of cure disease?" He laughs, another droning of wind matching the sound as his body shook. "You think I haven't tried that? First of all, this thing isn't a disease, it's a living thing inside of me. Second, these little guys feed on magic." He slapped his stomach, prompting another thunderous burst. "The only thing that would do is give them more fuel to convert into gas."

He sighed, slightly slick with sweat, seeming a little out of breath from the exhaustion of clearing his bowels. "Don't worry about it, it's not that bad. The bloating is hardly a problem anymore now that I've stopped trying to hold it in. And thanks to A'kin's pills, the smell isn't so bothersome anymore, don't worry about me." He leaned back with a light pat to his stomach, allowing his minutes-long bout come to a rest, allowing him brief respite before the next wave began.
"Anyway, I gotta keep moving on. Got a job to do and all, and these guts wont keep quiet for long. Safe travels, buddy."
