Bermudan Sea Nymph
Found in deep-water reefs in tropical Atlantic waters, this species is vanishingly shy of divers, but seems intensely curious of ships. Communicates via high-pitched vocalizations often mistaken for whale song.
This sketchbook (made of unbleached, rough paper, and simply bound) was great fun! Done up as a nature/naturalist sketchbook, artists were given complete freedom in what to draw. Since aquatic species seemed absent from the entries thus far, it seemed fitting to add one. :)
Please forgive my camera; it fears convention lighting will eat it.
