Spectrafox, getting fitted with a shiny new steampunk leg. All those gears take some tuning, so portions of the leather and bronze casings have been left off for now.

Kiwi's workshop hasn't changed much since last it was seen ( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6644344/ ), aside from a shift in design focus for her newest project: the chalkboard that serves as a sketchpad of sorts now holds initial snap-together design sketches for Spectra's leg. Additional design sketches, along with an old prosthetic cuff, horseshoe model, miscellaneous metal/leather pieces, pressure valves, tools, notes, and charts are strewn across the fold-out table and floorspace. Also in the background are an earlier design of the wing-rig, a stray tailfeather from the same, several feather samples and dragon/wing sketches, and a collection of notes/lessons learned/etc from earlier flight attempts. (Samples: "Always bring a parachute", "Wear a helmet", "Check weather forecast", etc.)

Prismacolor markers on Bristol board, with some painty whitepens for magic effects. Tried blending old and new inking techniques on this one, so that fine details could be preserved when viewed from a distance. Had all kinds of fun on this!
