I can never decide what to do with my style, but now that my line-work isn't half bad i think im going to make my way back to shading and lighting practice / study...
so with that being said, im asking for critique on this! anything ya'd like to point out about the lighting and shading that looks off i'd greatly appreciate ❤ the lighting is meant to be coming from behind yet some small bit of light in front just so we can actually see the depth of his face. also kinda reverted back to my old hair style for this?? the flat coloring didn't look right to me. but the sharper lines are nice.

Looks superb! I don't know a whole lot about digital painting but I'd say to just keep doing what you're already doing. The eyes and shading of the features I find are particularly stunning.
