sometimes Magnum's appearance gives the wrong impression, so someone attempted to pick a fight with him after he unintentionally bumped them while passing by. he ended up falling into the river after they accidentally pushed him off the bridge they were standing on. his clothes weighed him down, so he couldn't resurface at all, so eventually he lost consciousness. Sable was passing by when he spotted the unconscious Magnum. he doesn't approach surface folk, but he can't stand seeing people in trouble. he pulled him back to the surface, but Sable quickly disappeared when Magnum regained consciousness. Magnum wasn't sure how he got back, so he just assumed he washed up there and simply went home, a bit more shaken up than he thought he was.
