Low Water

Unsure if this shoreline is naturally accurate, but it was fun.

Very soothing and natural. And the little "peek-a-boo" frog is cute. :)

        That's what she said. :(

          Oh ho.

Usually my 'that's what she said' jokes make no sense. Couldn't help this one though. X3

Yep, many insects of all types and sizes would be sharing that space.

I used to know a couple of places like that. I wonder if they are still there.

The roots sticking out of the soil are perhaps the most technically appealing part of this picture. You don't see that kind of detail from most furry artists.

I wouldn't say low tide. I don't know any trees other than mangrove that like salt water.
Maybe the engineers have opened up the floodgates and the reservoir seen here is now low. or maybe the engineers are upstream and keeping the gates closed...
    Either way, looks awesome.

Maybe adding some birds in the sky to share the space with would be good. But other than that, fantastic work as always ^-^ I especially love the roots growing out into the water <3

It looks to me like it's foggy out there, so you wouldn't be able to see any birds

:O very nice! Might I would like to suggest something though. Perhaps darken the water where it meets the shore/dirt. Perhaps not the same color as the shadows, maybe the color of the dirt but the water layered over it for a translucent effect. Heh, just noticed the frog, cute. I like how you used lines to work with your shading. It has a foggy feel to it and I like how the sky and water don't have a clear difference. Unless it's just suppose to be water everywhere, which works too. I rather like the empty space as well.

A lovely, and relaxing scene. I know some places that make me feel that way. This one wouldn't work for me, though. That is a swamp, or swamp-like area, and that brings up bad memories. Besides, I hate humidity and bugs. (desert kid, born and bred) Your artistry is amazing, and the piece is mesmerizing.
