A lot went through my mind when I read that quote and it took me to a dark, dark place that constantly replays what is considered my childhood. I get so... angry when I think of what I went through at home with my mother and step-father. And when I finally met my Dad and his wife and their kids, it made me even more angry. I see how my brothers and sister grew up and I can't help but feel that I was cheated out of a childhood I could have had. Should have had.
