To celebrate (which may not be quite the right word) the release of the latest edition of 'Primates in Peril: the world's 25 most endangered primates' (iucn.org), here is one of those primates.

Red Ruffed Lemur (Varecia rubra). This photo is from 2004, when they were less endangered. Since then the Masoala forest where they live has suffered from extensive illegal logging.
