This is the fourth in my practise series of gift/requests. This piece is for Stratos00771, who told me to do whatever I liked with his fursona. Well, in his gallery, he had a photograph of himself holding a bow, which I rather liked, and I also just saw The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug, so I've been in an archery mood. Naturally, then, I wanted to draw him coolly firing an arrow at... something.

Really, this piece was a vehicle for many things I wanted to practise, such as dynamic posing, expressive faces, lighting, shading, subtle colour changes with a larger colour palette, and backgrounds in general. I, personally, think I improved greatly during this piece, and I rather like the background. I'm excited to work at this quality or greater on more pieces.
