Jack was born as a human. It was after he found a necklace that he was turned onto a yellow cat. Said object had the power of manipulating the light, even turning it onto photonic matter, those huge powers came with a pay-back. The user of the necklace had to give part of their energy, having to eat tons of food and also recharge it with light. The powers seem weakened where the light is little to none due to the energy exchange. Within the necklace there is also a “spirit” whom is seem to give the crystal's habilities to the wielder. The Spirit, called “May” by Jack, is the embodyment of the creation of Universe's light.

After a few weeks, when Jack is 14, he goen onto an adventure to find a place he can really call a "home". After realizing his mother misses him so much, he goes back and apologizes...

Meanwhile, he fights against several crime organizations, such as a supervillain assembly, thankfully, said organization is more concerned about other superheroes to pay attention to him. After a disagreement with those heroes, Jack rejects to even acknowledge both organizations, making his eyes go into another thread which will give him more troubles than before.
