First batch of concepts for ent-like creatures for Foxtacles. Second one will appear soon. :)

I had total freedom with those and I gladly used it! As much as I appreciate traditional ent canon appearance, I decided to have fun with those guys. I didn't really want to follow "old guy with beard made of bark" so things you can see here are a bit different ;]
One at left side, was an accident. Sketch had funny head shape which kinda resembled owl face, so I went along and made Owltree :D
Middle guy was again a bit different approach - CACTIII! I can totally see him living in desert oasis, scaring poor travelers away.
One at the right was actually first one I made. I wanted to include human like features, but with my own twist. He probably had a troll creature somewhere in his family line :D

I also tried to do something new with them. That would be adding tiny bits of "narratives" in design itself. Right one will be probably best example of what I mean. You have this bulky, kinda creepy looking guy, but he still had bunch of flowers to gift in his hand, has chilly grass in his mouth and he attracts pretty butterflies!

All in all, one of my favourite commissions in a longer while :D FUN.
