/LONG RUNNING SENTENCE I TYPED UP WHEN I WAS SLEEP DEPRIVED/

i was thinking they'd be super intelligent, given that they're 1/4 the size of a mawnzturr. pygmys would be their dinner if they werent smart enough!
they sometimes attempt to find a new mother or father Mawnzturr who is still in parenting mode and pretend to be a cub mawnzturr (they have the ability to mimic the sounds a cub mawnzturr makes, and they can copy the behaviours too). the parents usually take the pgymy in and look after them closely as they believe that their child is deformed or disabled. pgymys do not have the tailmouths and are not as muscular, they also have nimble small legs and ears which hang down on the sides, rather than prick up and backwards like the mawnzturr. the pygmys use the mawnzturr as a food and protection source and some have managed to keep their "adopted" parents up until the day they die, as pygmys do not grow anywhere near the size of a mawnzturr the parents continue to care for them, without realising that they have been fooled.
