Man I adored this movie, never made me cry though ....plague dogs did though );

The movie was excellent; the book was good too. Love them both.
I am unfamiliar with plague dogs.

Setting: Two dogs, Rowf, a black lab mix, and Snitter, a fox terrier, struggling to swim in the ocean to get away from people who want to kill them for fear that the dogs are carrying the bubonic plauge* the helicopter watching them from the air loses sight of them, too foggy to see where they are.
"Is it far...Snitter?"
"No, not very far...oh, Rowf..."
"I can't see anything in front of us."
...
"I'm getting tired..can't seem to...move my legs...anymore..."
"Come...on...keep going...try..."
"Can't swim anymore, Rowf..."
"We must be...near the island..."
"Is there any island, Rowf...?"
"There is..."
"There...can't you see it? Our island..."
"Just stay with me. I'll get you there..."
...
The film ends.
