BFG Vengeance-class Grand Cruiser

Iridium

Imperial Vengeance-class Grand Cruiser Righteous Path

Commissioned: 342.M36
Lost to the Empyrean: 384.M39 (Avengin Crusade)
Rediscovered by the Morganus Rogue Trader Dynasty: 814.M41
Recovery Fleet Dispatched from the Lathes: 815.M41
Recovery Fleet Returns to the Lathes: 818.M41
Returned to the Emperor's Service as Flagship, Battlefleet Koronus: 835.M41

When I GM'd a game of the Rogue Trader RPG, my Explorers ran a modified version of the Righteous Path adventure that's in the back of the book. They did find the lost Grand Cruiser, and they survived the trials and tribulations required to plunder the ancient vessel (though it did cost the Rogue Trader his right arm, and the Helmsman his left leg below the knee...). What they did after that with the location of the ship, we never got around to. So I am pressing the Righteous Path into service in my small but growing Battlefleet Koronus (based on a Segmentum Obscuros Bastion Fleet).

Until I can find time to put together my Emperor-class Battleship (to be named the Light of Terra), the Righteous Path will assume flagship duties over the Gryphon (my Mars-class battlecruiser). I can actually run both the Righteous Path and the Gryphon right now, thanks to two Dauntless-class light cruisers, my Lunar, and my new Gothic. :D I hope I get to play again soon!

Thank you! I'm getting better with using green stuff, but I still have a lot to learn. And I'm pleased with the paint job, BFG ships are relatively easy and fast to paint. Drybrushing and liquid skill (washes) for the win! Though the red and gold take a bit more patience. :)
