This was the last piece of artwork I completed in 2014, just a simple picture of Rob as a young man that I started in my livestream yesterday. This is what he’d look like circa 1966, in his biker getup. As a bisexual man, Rob had very close ties to the gay community in San Francisco, including a male lover named Antonio Delacruz, and with him they formed a queer motorcycle gang (which I’ve yet to come up with a name for, but I’ll think about it), hence the pink triangles on his jacket.
