IT IS THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN!

Time for Iggi's Birthday Art Contest! This year we will be making some new additions to characters and some small changes from the previous year. I'm reducing the number of prizes due to my queue being so backed up, but I don't want to break with tradition and cancel it all together. If I make good progress on it and we get enough entries, I will hopefully be able to add more prizes! I'm also narrowing down the list of my characters to my favorites and the ones that people seem to like the most in my art. Hopefully it will help anyone who enters gain some watchers.

PRIZES

All completed by me, Iggi!

Host Choice Prize: 2 character Smooth Colored Shaded Sketch artwork with a simple BG (voted on by the community) (Prize only applicable if over 5 entries exist) (collaborative prize: 1 char per person in the same work)

Grand Prize: 2 character COMPLEX Shaded artwork with highly detailed BG. (this winner will be decided on by me, judgement will not be decided off of popularity or artistic merit. Prize will be given to whom I felt best captured the essence of the character they worked with and spent the most time working on the concept.) This prize will NOT be for works that were commissioned. (collaborative prize: 1 char per person in the same work)

Voter Prize: A choice between a custom adoptable of any preexisting type I have made, 2 character smooth sketch. (One community voter will be chosen at random to get this prize. May be any non-prize winning artist.) Will be announced June 20th as well.

RULES and Guidelines

General Rules For ALL art:

• ALL ENTRIES MUST INCLUDE 'iggibday2015" IN THEIR KEYWORDS WHEN SUBMITTED TO MAKE IT EASIER TO FIND! If you do not enter this as one of your keywords, your entry will be INVALID!
• Art must be finished linework, however it does not have to be colored.
• Art may be in digital, traditional, or sculpture medias. (I will NOT accept writing, music or other forms of art. As I am unfit to judge them)
• Characters may be toony, comic, realistic, feral adaptations, or any variations thereof.
• Entries must be readable characters.
• Entries do NOT require backgrounds.
• May only submit TWO (2) entries per person. (collaborative works count as 1 per person involved)
• Art must contain one of my characters from sections 1 & 2 (see list below)
• Artwork may be a collaboration of up to two artists. (see prizes)
• Artwork may be commissioned. (commissioned art CANNOT win GRAND PRIZE) The artist commissioned must be informed prior to starting the commission of the contest and must either note me or comment under their post of the art that the piece commissioned is for "Iggi's Art contest entry for xyournameherex". Any pieces not labelled as such are only valid entries for the artist responsible.
• All entries must be posted on FurAffinity.net and linked to this journal before the end of the contest to be valid. (You may post them elsewhere as long as you give credit to who the character's belong)
• Any entries found not to be abiding by contest rules will not be applicable, and may have take-down requested. If you are worried about a entry or idea being appropriate, please feel free to note me prior to starting work.
• You do NOT have to mail me original art or WIP, however you may note me afterwards if you would like to.

Theme Ideas
You don't have to use these themes necessarily, but hopefully they will give you ideas for stuff I like!

• Magic (wind specifically. Iggi is afraid of fire. )

• Exploration; going new places.
• Romance; enjoying cuddle time with my mates, etc.
• Cuteness; chibis, being a kid or small animal.

General Audience Specific Rules

• May use any character's listed below from any section. But it must include a character from section 1 or 2.
• Must be 13 or up to enter.
• Artwork must be viewable for any age group. No nudity or adult situation of any type! (kissing or cuddling is acceptable)

Mature/Adult Audience Specific Rules

• Artwork can contain any characters. However make sure to use appropriate pairings.
• Entrants must be over 18 years of age.
• Adult themes acceptable: Oviposition, sex, vaginal sex, anal sex, tentacles, light bondage, food play, oral sex, pin-up, lactation, pregnancy, moderate size-play, masturbation, muscle, pudgy/curvy body, toys, mild cum-flation, big butts. (please ask if you have other ideas)
• Completely ** unacceptable** themes: cub-adult, scat, watersports, gore, inflation, extreme size-play, incest, diaper, rape, hyper.
• You can only pair your own characters with those in section 2
• Characters can only be paired with the proper sexual partner for their likes. (straight, gay, lesbian, bi, pan respectively)
