This was a painting done for my Watercolor class in 2009

This is of my old family dog Charles, who passed away about 2 years ago now. This is one of my favorite paintings I've ever done, and am glad it's of the wonderful dog who I grew up with <3

    I clicked on this expecting a cute photo of a pug. Instead I got an awesome painting of a pug!

    Did you use a lot of gauche (sp?) for this piece?

      No gouache, just watercolor! :) The tiny white hairs on his chest and some in his muzzle is white watercolor, but everything else is just the white paper left behind ^^
