Tumblers are amazing :3
Was finally able to finish this for my fiance since I now have a tumbler. Blackened steel has a 'sooty' layer still on it so I didn't want to sell/use pieces with them because of it. But now it's not an issue!
I'm not going into why I made this since I hope most understand the meaning. =P
Made with 12g 1/2" blackened steel rings, a handful of 14g 3/8" blackened steel and one larger stainless steel welded ring (I'm having a hell of a time finding a blackened steel center ring..).

Oh man :3 It may be a pain to make, but I'd kinda wonder if a Viper Basket weave using those 12g rings would be more comfortable?

I'm not sure if Viper Basket would work with this AR, the weave has to have specific sizes and if it's off by even a tiny bit it was close up/tighten up really fast! I tried it in titanium a while ago and just the difference in how thick the anodizing was screwed it up..
