I like how you ended up making his colors ^^

cutee omg, background is just a little over-saturated though
Grass and blue sky background looks best to me when its a bit less saturated and has a wide variety of grassy colors while also keeping reasonable, like, not super random greens, and good brushwork is important, making it look really grassy is important, you dont have to go out of your way to make every grass blade lmao, but find what works best. If your using photoshop a good cop out is to just use the grass brush tool and smudge it very lighty till it meets your liking, but i have no experience with other art programs so uh, cant help you there if you use something else lmao sorry. uwu/ hope this helps a bit tho, im no expert by any means but i hope my advice goes to some use.

(just realized you stated you didnt put much effort in the background lmAOO. whoops)

(oh yeah also, if the character is the main focus of the pic, make sure there in the center or close. Pushing them to a corner takes the attention off the character and more twords the background)

        Woah! Hehe.
Don't worry. I am taking everything into consideration, but I was kinda half introducing a new character and also making a new desktop background for myself because WHY NOT?

Yeah. That was my first attempt at a background and yeah, I will try to get better.
As for the software I use, it's Krita.

Never heard of Krita. 2 good free programs i like are gimp and paint.net, sai is good for tablet users and is less complex than photoshop, but i love photoshop, it does everything lmao. If you can afford it i would definitely recommend it
