The helmet blocks Gerra's psychic abilities, leaving him helpless. The tubes connected to him feed him necessary nutrients as well as a cocktail of drugs to keep him sedated, yet never content. Stuck in a constant state of dreamless sleep and sleepless paralysis. During this time, he grew incredibly gaunt and his claws overgrew. Being tube fed could only do so much to sustain a living creature, even in a place like this.

Up until his escape, he was a prisoner not only to the extradimensional nightmare, but within his own body as well. The prison didn't predict that this would only strengthen his abilities in the end, as he had nothing else to scream for help with. It was silent, but pervasive... eventually, it would lead to his freedom, but not before his mind was permanently altered by the long nightmare he had to endure alone and stuck with nothing but the memories of watching his people be slaughtered all around him, and the knowledge that the entire planet had been reduced to nothing but dust.

He was a broken creature with nowhere to go back to, and nothing to live for, except vengeance. He would achieve it in the end, but at what cost?
