Pretty simple idea: tie fishing line to a maglite, tie the other end to the ceiling fan (the center piece), and swing it around while taking a long-exposure shot from below. For this, I forgot to put the maglite in candle mode, but I liked the result.

Oh, and a quick question: do you call this light painting or light drawing? Because I've heard people call it different things...
