As my 200th artwork on deviantart I wanted it to be a beginning of my own project Disney Stables

Since time immemorial I wanted to draw Disney horses and I finally found some time to do one :)
As a child all I did all day long was watching Disney movies. I adored them but I adored more the horse characters, even the less important ones :D Now I've set myself a new personal project ^^ I plan to draw all Disney horses in my semi-realistic style!

The first one is Khan from Mulan. Some time ago I rewatched Mulan and thus the idea of Disney horses popped into my head :D I'm aware that he looks slightly different than the one in the film but I wanted him to be an actual Chinese horse breed. After few hours of research and comparing breeds I've decided to make him a Ferghana horse
