Rodentia by Huskyteer

Tuco-tuco, marmot, mara
Guinea pig and capybara
The paca and the pacarana
With all the seeds their cheeks can garner.
Bringing fruit and other booty
Woodchuck, chipmunk, and agouti.
Hopping dusty deserts o'er
Go the springhare and jerboa
Crossing waters bridged by beaver
Gitche Gumee, Lake Geneva
The kindly cane rat urging on
The lemming and the octodon.
Hamsters, gerbils flit their tanks
And scamper forth to join the ranks.
They all proceed by leaps and bounds
Until they reach the twilight grounds
There with mice most muscular
To dance their dance crepuscular.
