One of my newer works, this is from January 2012 and was my first venture into painting plants as a focus. This is the "Bone Fern" of Dreyrull (www.Dreyrull.com), a carnivorous plant named for its frondlike leaves and vertebrae-like seed pods. The plant is of my own design and lore, part of my plotting with my character Bone Stalker.
