Sketch - Death of a GELF

"…why…? W-why isn’t it working…?"
— “Death of a GELF”

——

This was a random scene that’s been on my mind for a while…

According to TITUS lore, GELF have synthetic blood made of nanomachine-like cells that are used to keep the GELFs internals working and, when injured, work on repairing the damage.
The original Batch 17 GELFs were originally made to be super soldiers, so (if I understand this right), they were made to be unkillable, their synthblood meant to work so that thy were able to repair even the most fatal of wounds within a few hours. I might be wrong, but I think most GELF share a similar feature, including Enigma.

Until now.

During what seemed like a simple job, Enigma and the Atlantis crew run into some trouble and Enigma gets shot, only this time his synthblood is appears to be inert. Enigma is bleeding to death…

Did someone find a way to ruin synthblood, or is it a fatal flaw in Enigma’s make up? Will he survive?

Please note that this is just me being weird and not necessarily 'canon'.

Enigma and art are mine.
